Angela Petrusha, Founding Attorney

As a parent, a spouse, a member of a blended family, and a small business owner, my background gives me some perspective on what many of my clients’ concerns are. I’ve dealt with the terminal illness and subsequent loss of a loved one who had no estate plan at all, and the stress and confusion that caused. These events have given me the compassion and motivation to help others through the estate planning process.

As a Humboldt County native, I’ve developed strong ties to my community over the years. I host quarterly estate planning workshops which are open to everyone. I enjoy providing clear advice and options on how to protect both personal and financial interests. My mission is to demystify estate planning and help clients achieve the peace of mind that comes with knowing their affairs are in order no matter what happens.

My personal interests include spending time with my family and friends, trail running, reading, and weekends at the lake.

Kristen Adams, Associate Attorney

As a native of Redding, California, I relocated to Eureka after achieving my Juris Doctor from Cal Northern School of Law, where I earned several Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence. Prior to that I graduated from Chico State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.

While attending law school, I worked as a paralegal where I gained experience in estate planning, personal injury, unlawful detainers, and civil litigation. I come from a family lineage of elder law attorneys, including my mother, uncle, and grandfather. My first

experience with estate planning occurred while watching my mother carefully plan clients’ estates and discourage family feuds. This inspired my true passion for estate planning with the goal of providing peace of mind and solving problems before it becomes too late.

I am proud to be part of the PETRUSHA LAW team because of its expertise in finding creative solutions, commitment to high standards for client success, and personal touch while building trusted client relationships.

My personal interests include exploring the great outdoors, traveling, and running.
